My therapeutic approach
_______________________
My priority is that the person I'm working with feels comfortable, accepted, and valued. Only within this secure environment is it possible to open up and initiate change. The focus is on individualized, resource-oriented work based on the understanding that acknowledging and strengthening your existing abilities mobilizes your self-healing powers and empowers you to overcome what is troubling or blocking you.

I always accompany them with empathy, authenticity and appreciation, With me, you know "where you stand." I give positive feedback often and gladly, and I will return difficult but important aspects to you thoughtfully and objectively.
On the subject of humor: over the years, I've increasingly noticed that psychotherapy and counseling can be, and even should be, fun. Sharing a laugh can relax people and clear their minds for new perspectives. Learning new things works best in a relaxed atmosphere and makes you want to continue working on yourself. Psychotherapy and counseling are an investment in the future, and I have great respect for everyone who wants to explore themselves and grow.
Being able to accept support is a strength!
In therapy sessions, I integrate art therapy, body therapy, systemic, hypnotherapeutic, and behavioral therapy approaches, depending on the treatment focus and the wishes of my patients. If necessary, close interdisciplinary collaboration takes place with treating physicians (e.g., regarding medication) and other specialists.
